  • HLS continued to be the dominant standard for Adaptive Bitrate (ABR) streaming with DASH growing year-over-year as the choice for many OTT and desktop devices
  • Intermediate processing workflows/repackaging are becoming more widely utilized thanks to the support of fMP4 workflows and are predicted to continue to surge in use.
  • The report now includes data on HDR formats, as UHD HDR workflows are increasing.
